My Educational Journey
My academic journey reflects both growth and perseverance—from earning my Associate of Arts degree at Lake-Sumter State College to pursuing my Bachelor of Health Sciences at the University of Central Florida. Along the way, I’ve strengthened my knowledge through hands-on experience in healthcare, research, and volunteer work that shaped my commitment to helping others. Each step has not only deepened my understanding of the human body and mind but also inspired my passion for Occupational Therapy and lifelong learning.

I am working towards my Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida, where I gained a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and public health. Throughout my studies, I developed skills in critical thinking, research analysis, and evidence-based healthcare practices. Key accomplishments include conducting research on AI in mental health therapy, completing a clinical trial project on rotator cuff rehabilitation that strengthened my understanding of patient care and interdisciplinary teamwork. These experiences enhanced my communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities—preparing me for advanced study and a career in healthcare.

Lake Sumter State College
I earned my Associate of Arts degree from Lake-Sumter State College, where I completed foundational coursework in biology, psychology, and human development that prepared me for upper-level health science studies. During my time there, I strengthened my academic discipline, time management, and study skills while maintaining strong academic performance. I also built communication and teamwork abilities through group projects and presentations, laying the groundwork for my future success in the health sciences and clinical settings.

Lake Minneola High School
I earned my High School Diploma from Lake Minneola High School, where I completed advanced coursework including AP classes in science and health-related subjects. I actively participated in HOSA—Future Health Professionals—which strengthened my passion for healthcare and introduced me to medical ethics, teamwork, and leadership. These experiences helped me develop strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills while building a solid academic foundation for my college and future healthcare studies.
